Major County K9 Unit

Gigant is Major County Sheriff's Office newest dual purpose canine. He is a Dutch Shepherd from Poland.

Deputy Wyatt Bacon and Gigant completed Pacesetter K9's 160 Hour Dual Purpose Narcotics Detection and Patrol course in Liberty Hill, TX. The team is certified in detection both state and nationally in narcotic detection. The team abides by the CLEET's monthly training and is constantly improving on detection, tracking, and patrol work.
